Lenovo T410 Memory Slots
The T410 has 2 GB soldered on to the mainboard. That leaves one SODIMM slot. If you put in a 4GB SODIMM, then you have 6GB max. But according to that model T410 support pages (and parts pages) the maximum ram is 64GB. I called DELL Tech Support twice to check which one was correct. The Laptop has 2 Slots to install memory, already with 4GB standard memory installed. For best Lenovo ThinkPad T410 (2518AHU) Laptop performance use the maximum amount of 8GB, fill all the slots with the max allowed memory per slot for your Laptop. What is the warranty on these memory? What if the memory is not compatible?

Anyway, now my Lenovo has a full power of

, and that’s fine to run Linux hosting a couple of PostgreSQL virtual machines! Think about when your only operating system is asking for the total RAM!
